Gutter replacement in the East Bay and South Bay

Seamless gutters and drip-edge flashing that keep water off the fascia and foundation.

Are overflowing gutters staining the fascia or puddling at the foundation? Gutters are part of the roof. Pulled hangers and open inside corners soak the wood and the wall behind it. We install seamless gutters and fix the roof-edge details that feed them.

New roofs and standalone gutter jobs both get the same hang and pitch.

If this is the work your home needs, call (925) 722-6494 or send the form for a written estimate. There is no obligation.

How overflowing gutters damage the roof edge

Water that spills behind the gutter soaks fascia, then the wall and foundation. Pulled hangers and undersized boxes are common on older East Bay homes. We size the gutter to the roof plane and reset the drip edge so water enters the trough.

When to replace gutters with the roof

If gutters are rusted, pulled, or the wrong size, replace them with the roof. If they are sound, we can reuse them and reset the hangers after the new drip edge. We will tell you which path fits after we look.

Downspouts on hillside lots

Hill lots need discharge that does not dump onto a neighbor or a foundation. We run downspouts and extensions to a safe outlet and can add leaf screens where trees dump on the eave.

What gutter work includes

  • Seamless aluminum gutters
  • Downspouts and extensions
  • Drip edge and apron flashing
  • Leaf screens where trees dump on the eave
  • Fascia repair when water has already won

Gutter questions

Should gutters be replaced with the roof?+

If they are rusted, pulled, or the wrong size, yes. If they are sound, we can reuse them and reset the hangers after the new drip edge. We will say which option fits after we look.

Do you install seamless gutters?+

Yes. We install seamless aluminum gutters sized to the roof plane, with downspouts and extensions that carry water away from the house.

Can you repair fascia that is already rotted?+

Yes, when water has already reached the wood. Sound fascia is part of a gutter that stays on the wall. We include that repair in the written estimate when we see it.

Do I need leaf screens?+

If trees dump on the eave, screens reduce clogs. They still need occasional cleaning. We recommend them where they will actually help, not on every house.
